Draft date: September 8, 2026
Effective date: [DATE]
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company Legal Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use FirstToShip at firsttoship.com (the “Service”). FirstToShip is a web-based course/kit sold as a one-time digital purchase. It is not an App Store app and does not use in-app purchases.
By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are

2. Who this Service is for
The Service is intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly. Users under 18 may not purchase or use the Service under our Terms of Service.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account / purchase details: name, email address, and any information needed to deliver access to the kit
- Support messages: content you send when you contact us (refunds, technical help, questions)
- Optional profile or progress data: course progress, unlock status, or preferences you set in the product
3.2 Information collected automatically

- Session / unlock data: cookies or similar storage needed to keep you signed in and to unlock purchased content
- Analytics (when enabled): usage events via analytics tools (e.g., PostHog or similar). See Cookie Notice. Analytics may be subject to your consent where required
3.3 Payment information
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor ([Payment Processor Name / TBD]). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. The processor receives billing details needed to complete your purchase and may provide us limited transaction metadata (e.g., last four digits, amount, status, receipt ID).
3.4 Categories summary (GDPR / CCPA-style)
| Category | Examples | Source |

| Commercial info | purchase history, refund requests | You; payment processor |
| Internet / network activity | page views, course progress, device/browser data | Automatically; analytics |
| Inferences | none material beyond product progress | Product usage |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, precise geolocation, health data) as part of the core Service.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, unlock, and operate the Service
- Process purchases and refunds
- Respond to support and security issues
- Improve the product and content (including aggregated analytics when enabled)
- Send transactional emails (receipts, access links, policy updates)
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your data for unrelated advertising networks as a core practice of this product.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Payment processors — to take payment and handle refunds
- Hosting / infrastructure providers — to run the website and store data
- Analytics providers (when live, e.g., PostHog) — to understand product usage
- Email / support tools — to communicate with you
- Professional advisors / legal — when reasonably necessary
- Authorities — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
Third-party AI / coding tools (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Base44, etc.) that you choose to use while following the course are your tools. Their privacy practices are governed by those providers—not by FirstToShip. We do not control what you paste into those tools.
Affiliate note: If you use an optional Base44 path we link to, that provider and the affiliate network may receive referral/click data under their own policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
We may transfer assets (including customer data) if we merge, sell, or reorganize the business, subject to this Policy or notice as required.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies/storage for login, session, and content unlock. When analytics tools go live, we may use analytics cookies or similar technologies, and will request consent where required. See our Cookie Notice for details and choices.
7. International transfers
We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate. If you are in the EEA/UK/Switzerland, those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) with providers.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including:
- Account and purchase records for the life of the account and as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution
- Support tickets for a reasonable period after resolution
- Analytics data per provider settings or until deleted/aggregated
When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data, unless law requires longer retention.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping access credentials confidential.
10. Your rights
10.1 General (including GDPR where applicable)
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
